Building confidence, developing listening skills and finding your own voice when wanting to express your ideas and opinions all whilst making friends and having a great time!!!

Whether you are aspiring to become a professional actor, applying for drama school or just wanting to develop your confidence in everyday life these classes are designed for you!!

Working on the voice, diction, projection, storytelling, physical theatre, script work, audition technique, performance technique, acting for film and television, commercials and more.

Working towards local performance, festivals and optional LAMDA Exams

Katie's training includes;

Acting for Television at the London Academy Film TV &Radio,

Stage Combat Youngblood West Hampstead,

Acting Arts Educational Chiswick,

Degree in Performing Arts from Christchurch University.

BA Honours Degree Professional Arts Practice Italia Conti

Experience includes;

Katie has appeared in commercials, short films and plays, she has also worked as an

entertainer on Cruise ships.

A keen writer and director she ran her own production company producing murder mystery events all over the southeast region.

She was also involved with a team of writers producing a radio comedy series.

Katie has a passion for teaching and working with young people.

She has a gained a vast amount of experience teaching drama with Stagecoach Thanet, Flair Performing Arts and LCA Ashford as well as facilitating drama workshops for numerous companies.

Katie has attended many conferences and courses on young people’s behaviour, emotions, and development and is always looking to update her training.

Katie is delighted to be welcoming you to Spotlight Acting in Ashford and is very much looking forward to sharing her experience and skills with students.
